Thankful to have met with ID Yilin who was very patient and genuine about meeting my needs and expectation. She is always responsive and goes all the way out to render her assistance! Truly appreciated! Thank you once again Yilin and team! Awesome workmanship!

In search for renovating my two house toilets, there were many options for renovation contractors but in the end, my husband and I chose The Alchemists Design. Besides looking around for renovation contractors both at physical stores and via online, we also did window shop for tiles at a major and well-established tiles seller.

The day, awkwardly, the security guard asked whether we had a contractor tagging to us. When we replied no, he immediately suggested us to meet one ID who is inside with her customers. Even though we were puzzled with his suggestion, we just went ahead with the flow and to cut story short, Miss Haryati was very approachable (even though she is in the midst of handling her customers) in handing us her name card.

Within a day or two after the very brief meet-up and follow-up text messages, she and her partner, Miss Shaleen, came to our house for site visit and a day later forwarded us a proposed quotation with our given budget.

Simply put, there are 3 things that place The Alchemists Design is in line with other well-established renovation contractors:

1. Transparency – There are no hidden costs/charges. Terms are spelt out correctly. No hard-selling. All works are informed to us before the contractors commence the works. Timeline of both toilets works were also given to us. We were also updated with a 3D photo of our dream toilets after we have selected our tiles and toilet accessories.
2. Assurance – Given the immediate and tight schedule, we were kept updated on the progress of the renovation via a group Whatsapp chat. While some minor hiccups are inevitable, both Haryati and Shaleen always ensured works were rectified to our satisfaction. Both of them also frequently make visits to our site to not only supervise the workers but also inspect the quality of the works.
3. Professionalism – These ladies are very young but both are was very dynamic, professional and responsive throughout the process. You will never have to worry about what is going on with your renovation.

Never had a moment to worry regarding trust and confidence. They were warm, professional with even their workers and hardworking with great customer service. No regrets engaging The Alchemists Design for my house toilets renovation! Great job Haryati and Shaleen.

Before starting my renovation, I went to many different IDs and finally settled when I met Haryati from The Alchemists Design! Apart from the reasonable quotation that was given, we could definitely vibe well with her, a big plus point! She was very patient and gave us suggestions when we needed them. She was also very honest & transparent with us on the prices.

Timely updates were given and she was very detailed during the handover check. There were no major hiccups during my renovation journey and I am super grateful for that. I would definitely recommend Haryati to my family & friends, for their renovations!

When we decide to purchase an older house, I knew that we need to do alot of general works. Rewiring, replastering of the whole house and hacking of both toilets and existing outdated cornices were essential. Our budget however is limited. We saw the potential of the house with the existing curve architecture in the living room that my wife love so much and our ID Ivonne use that and explore on creating more opportunities for the rest of the house.

For a 5 room old hdb, we were quoted almost double the price before. I was also very apprehensive bcoz of prior bad experience with an ID for our old house reno. Bt Ivonne proved that even with our limited budget, we can turn our old house into a fresh and new looking home without breaking the bank. We found alchemists through online and engaged Yilin to renovate our store. Although the renovation was minor, we liked that Yilin attends to our queries fast and we appreciate her efforts put into the proposals that she had shared with us, bearing our budget in mind. She is ever so patient with our questions (this is our first renovation) and explained the nitty gritty to us till we understand, which we are also very thankful for.

Throughout the renovation, she updates on the progress and we were able to see the works that were done every few days. Her service and attitude has also been great through the entire renovation and it was completed within the timeframe we gave. After service is good and prompt too. All in all, everything went smoothly and we enjoyed the process. We are glad we had Yilin to do the renovation. Will always recommend her to others! Thank you, Yilin!

My wife and I viewed a lot of contractors. What i like about Alchemists is the accessibility of their showroom, the price that was reasonable and the promptness of their quotation. Elly was the one that was assigned to us. She was quick to reply us and get back to us. With Elly’s help, we got the dream house that we envisioned. She was knowledgeable and understand our needs and concept and made it a reality. She advised us alot on the things we needed to get for the house so we wouldn’t spend unnecessarily.
